If you take a look around our ultrasound studio website, you might notice something missing that many other websites have: a testimonials page. Many times a company will cherry-pick their reviews and present them to the public via a testimonials page. Sure, it makes the company look good to have such favorable reviews, but you can be sure that they’re not going to include any negative reviews on their own site.

That’s why we just let our Google reviews do the talking for us. There’s nothing a company can really do to improve the reviews that people leave for us on Google, so it’s a lot easier to believe what people say about our ultrasound studio than what you might see on a curated testimonials page. We’re happy to report that people seem very happy with the service and product they’re getting from our Orem 4D ultrasound studio. As we write this article, we have 4.9/5 stars, and that’s with more than 150 reviews!

We’re always happy to hear from our customers, because they bring up topics that we sometimes forget to cover in our regular blogs. Let’s take a look at a few of our most recent reviews and what customers are saying about our baby ultrasound studio and technicians.

“Susan was super sweet and didn’t say anything without any uncertainty, she was sure and then proceeded to tell us our baby’s gender. BABY BOY. The place was well lit and clean. She let us record everything even facetime our family who is in California. We thank you Susan for being so sweet and Helpful ☺️”

Thanks for leaving us a review and letting us know what a good experience you had here at Kicks & Giggles. We certainly try to create an inviting atmosphere at our ultrasound studio, all the way from the reception area to the ultrasound rooms. We know that you’ve probably seen the inside of enough hospital rooms lately; we’re something a bit more inviting!

We’re glad you mentioned the people from California you invited to be part of the experience by bringing them in on video chat. Having a new baby is an exciting time for parents, but it’s also an exciting time for friends and grandparents. Even if they can’t be there in person, we know how important it can be for a mother to include them in the experience. They might be a thousand miles away, but that shouldn’t stop you from sharing!

Of course, we also welcome your guests into the studio in person. Parents, friends, and children are welcome to experience the wonders of our 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasounds so that they can feel even closer to the coming baby.

Okay, let’s hear from Emily.

“I had my 20-week ultrasound done at a different location and they couldn’t find anything. They didn’t tell me gender, the appointment was rushed (only 20 minutes), and they couldn’t get the baby’s face.

Fast forward to my experience at Kicks and Giggles. It was wonderful. I was given great images. Sydney took the time to turn me over multiple times to reposition the baby to better identify the gender. The appointment felt comfortable and I could tell Sydney really cared about our experience. She spent at least 30 minutes with us. She also scheduled us a follow up appointment for us at no cost because our 4D images weren’t clear (the umbilical cord was in front of the baby’s face).”

We’re so glad you wrote in, Emily, because you bring up two very good points.

First, it’s true that we’re not the only baby ultrasound studio in Utah…but we do think we’re the best! We started our business because we truly do love what we do, and we’re deeply interested in helping parents see high-resolution pictures of their children for the first time. We’re not interested in rushing you in and out just so that we can get your money. Also, many people like coming into our Orem ultrasound studio because that means they don’t have to drive to Salt Lake City. Not only is life a little slower and more laid back here, but it’s also easier to find a parking space!

Second, you’ve brought up the topic of the uncooperating youngster! There are actually quite a few things that can get in the way of obtaining the best images of your little one on any given day. They could be facing the mother’s spine, laying against the placenta, or, like in your case, have the umbilical cord in front of their face. If this happens, images might not be quite as perfect as you’d like. At our discretion we’ll decide if it warrants bringing a mother back in to get additional scans. (We also have information in our FAQ about getting the most detailed images possible from our HD ultrasounds.)

Okay, let’s take a look at one more.

“The technician was really sweet and helpful! She took the extra time to point out the structures of the umbilical cord, the babies brain, placenta, and amniotic sac. It was really cool to understand everything that we saw in the scan!”

— Danika Allred

Thanks for the kind words, Danika. One of the reasons that technicians get into this line of work is because they find it infinitely fascinating. While we’re certainly not going to give you medical advice — always listen to your doctor! — we’re more than happy to point out the amazing things that are going on in your body in order to support the child. Did you know that the placenta is the only temporary organ? Now you do, and you’ll probably learn even more by the time you leave our ultrasound studio!
